Dragonfly Cards & Gifts, situated in Knaresborough's picturesque Market Place, is an independent shop run by mother and daughter team Rita and Rachael. It offers a wide selection of good value cards and gifts for all occasions, as well as gift wrap and party ware. We are also an official stockist of both Willow Tree figurines and Ashleigh and Burwood Fragrance Lamps.
Dragonfly was a national finalist in both 2008 and 2009 in the prestigious Retas awards, (affectionately known as the retailing oscars) in the category of Best Newcomer which is for shops opened since January 2006. The Retas recognise excellence in retailing across all spectrums; from customer service to product knowledge, range of product stocked, and excellence in marketing and display. We are honoured to have made it down to the last 5 in the country for two consecutive years. We are proud to announce that 2010 saw us as finalists in the Best Greeting Card Retailer in the North and Northern Ireland category as well, its great to be considered up there with the best after a relatively short time trading.
We pride ourselves in knowing every card on our racks so if you're looking for something specific please come in and ask us and we'll do our best to meet your needs. We also offer a fantastic range of personalised cards for that really special occasion, as well as personalised canvases for children's bedrooms, which make the perfect gift for a new arrival, christening, birthday or Christmas.
If you're having a party or celebration come and visit us for helium balloon decorations, a cheap but effective way of adding a splash of colour to your special day. A wide range of air balloons and banners are also always available in store.
